The WotanWeld Series combines advanced 3D vision, intelligent path planning, and industrial robotics to deliver fully automated, high-precision welding of steel beams and plates—without the need for CAD models or manual teaching.
WotanWeld systems automatically scan tack-welded assemblies, reconstruct a precise 3D model, and generate weld seams directly from the real workpiece geometry. This model-free workflow ensures consistent weld quality, high productivity, and reliable results even with dimensional tolerances or imperfect fit-ups.

Technical Description

The WotanWeld Series is an intelligent robotic welding solution designed for automated beam- and plate-welding applications in structural steel fabrication.

Powered by iWeldStudio, the system integrates 3D vision scanning, real-time geometric reconstruction, and automated weld-path generation to eliminate manual programming and CAD dependency.
Using a combination of wide-area coarse scanning and high-precision seam tracking, the robot captures the true as-built geometry of the workpiece and derives all welding parameters directly from the scanned data.
Certified operators retain full control for fine adjustments, special seam geometries, or process optimization, ensuring that both standard and complex welds meet strict quality requirements.
