The CometCut Series is engineered for efficient, high-accuracy cutting of different material. Its unique static material clamping concept combined with a rotating cutting head ensures exceptional cutting stability, accuracy and productivity – even on heavy and long workpieces.
The CometCut Series processes material with the material fixed in position while the cutting head rotates around the workpiece. This concept eliminates material movement during cutting, ensuring superior precision, clean edges and minimal waste.
Technical Description
The CometCut Series is a CNC-controlled fiber laser cutting system designed for processing in the steel fabrication industry.
Unlike conventional rotating-material systems, the CometCut uses static material fixation while the cutting head rotates up to 250°, allowing precise contour cutting without torsion or deflection of the workpiece.
The system supports automatic loading, measuring, clamping, cutting and unloading of heavy profiles up to 12 meters in length.
Advanced CNC motion control, frog-jump path optimization, and adaptive feed speed adjustment ensure high cutting speed while maintaining excellent dimensional accuracy and edge quality.
The enclosed cutting cell, integrated fume extraction, and modular machine design make the CometCut Series suitable for continuous industrial operation with high safety standards.
